Join the Next OSIC Challenge
OSIC is launching two new scientific initiatives in 2026 — and we're opening a limited expression of interest to the right collaborators.
The Imaging Consensus Initiative
A landmark scientific challenge designed to map where imaging AI algorithms agree — and where they diverge — across fibrotic lung disease. Unlike traditional algorithm competitions, this is a collaborative scientific exercise, not a ranking event. The goal is a multi-contributor publication that defines the agreement topology of the field and guides the next decade of imaging biomarker development.
The question isn’t which algorithm wins. It’s “where do algorithms agree — and what does divergence tell us about the disease?”
The PCCT Readiness Initiative
Photon-counting CT is coming. A decade of HRCT-based biomarkers and trial endpoints are at risk of breaking as sites upgrade. This initiative is building the harmonization protocols that protect existing work — and unlock what PCCT makes newly possible. We are convening a focused group of the right institutions and researchers to do this together.
Both initiatives will have limited participation — structured deliberately to ensure scientific rigor and meaningful contribution from every participant.
By registering your interest today you are not committing to anything. You are telling us you want to be part of the conversation. We will follow up directly with more detail on structure, timeline, and how to get involved.
